I have Nepomuk Semantic Desktop enabled, and Nepomuk File Indexer, with 23000 files in the index.
In the "Places" panel I can choose Search for Documents etc. and Recently Accessed So why are Find => More Options always totally grayed out? (e.g. why can't I search for Images, or Ratings) I've even tried a full reinstall (Kubuntu 13.10, KDE 4.11.2) Any ideas??? -- Paul

check in systemsettings and make sure the Nepomuk file indexer is enabled and also not suspended, disabling it causes the find options to be greyed out

Thanks for the quick response
Yes, the indexer is enabled and not suspended. My home directory is an NFS mount and I have just discovered that if I: 1. Use system settings to select an additional folder on the local HDD for indexing (e.g. /usr/share/doc) 2. Navigate in Dolphin to that folder then select Find => More Options The options are not greyed out, and if I choose to search "Everywhere" then it does return results from my home directory (so my home directory is being indexed). But... if I now navigate back to Home, then Find => More Options is still greyed out. So it seems as though the options are greyed out if the current directory is an NFS mount, even though that directory is being indexed. Should I file a bug report????

Yes bug report sounds appropriate, I looked and didn't see anything similar opened (but then there might be)
