Dolphin stores tree's state now

Wed Jan 29, 2014 8:07 am
Hi there!
Essentially my question denoted in subj. After some update file tree view stores its state, while in 4.11.3 (at least) closing some upper directory in a tree was bring to closing all child folders.
May I to change this in actual version?

Yes, this was https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=304363 (regression in Dolphin 2.0/KDE SC 4.8.0).

No, you cannot change this. Sorry about that. The only workaround would be to reload the view with F5. This will keep all currently expanded folders, but the previously expanded folders will be forgotten.

I think I can to build an unpatched sources. Or I can to improve it to have ability to change this behaviour.
