I sometimes wish there was gesture to open a Folder while dragging a file.

e.g. I have "hello.mp3" file clicked and drag it over a folder because in that folder there is another folder I want to put that file in to, of course I could copy and paste the file, but while I'm in the process of dragging I don't want to know anything about it.

So I was thinking about a natural gesture, while having the file dragged, would be to move the file in a small circle clockwise to open the folder and counter clockwise to go one folder up, I remember trying to do this as a kid and was disappointed when it didn't work

Have you tried to enable "Open folders during drag operations" in the settings dialog, "Navigation" section? You can enter folders while dragging then. Going "up" is not possible though.
