I have a lot of PDF files where the first pages is cropped. In every filemanger en application exept Dolphin I see a beautiful cover with only selection what I cropped. In Dolphin I see a thumbnail of the whole A3 page with the selection I cropped and the area with I deleted as a white space.



How can I solve this issue?

Can you please explain how you performed this cropping procedure? Is this essentially an altered first page which is different in size to all other pages within the PDF file - containing only the "cropped" section you are interested in?

I have 2 PDF files. 1 is with the format A3 and the other with the format A4. De pdf file with format A3 is tehe cover of the PDF. First I crop this file to A4 and merge the cover as first page with the other PDF (a4) file. So I 've got a new PDF file as a4 format.

When I have preview on in Dolphin I still see as the first page (thumbnail_ as an A3 format. The left side (I cropped) is black and on the right side is see the right cover. When I open this file in naytilus or nemo, I see only the cover en not the the white area. How can I fix this in Dolphin?
