Dolphin: Total disk size?

Sun Apr 05, 2015 4:36 pm
Greetings

In dolphin I cannot find a way to show disk size. I am able to show size remaining, but not xgb remain of xgb. I can get the information when i select all folders, right click, properties - it is called device usage. I would like to show that on the main screen of dolphin. Is it possible?
thanks

don't think there is in Konqueror (though maybe only available in openSUSE) there is a sysinfo kio, in the address bar type
Code: Select all
sysinfo:/

do you need to have it in Dolphin? or do you just need to have the info available? there's a number of disk analyzers but for quick totals try
Code: Select all
df -h

you could open the Dolphin terminal window F4 and type du -h

also you could post a wish on bugs.kde.org to inc total space in the status bar somethin like "33/40gb free"
