Can't update mimetype file association

Hi,

I couldn't find a topic with this issue. Sorry if it's not true.

I don't know if anybody have the same issue, but when I go to context menu -> properties and then in file type option and then change the order of the first application to open a specific filetype, and click to buttón "accept", a save process bar appear, when it disappear, the changes are undone, and nothing happens.

I'm on archlinux with KDE 5 plasma, and I don't know when this problem began.

Hi,

got the same problem with current archlinux system and kde5. Maybe this is related to archlinux. Did you solve the problem?

Running systemsettings5 in konsole and trying to change the mimetype application results in the following output:

Hi again,

changing the default application in .config/mimeapps.list with a change in the systemsettings5 in order to trigger a reload gives a working solution.
