Once again I do not know whether this is the most correct place to report this, maybe it's a problem Baloo, or KIOSlave but certainly as far as I could see Baloo works krunner, but the default search folders in Dolphin do not work (as see from), I'm almost certain that this bug has been reported several times by many users, but this bug is still there by Plasma 5.0 to 5.6.1 and last kde application. Now I do not know if it's hard to solve but I want this thing to be given priority because it is a very obvious bug in one of the base software KDE and those folders are there in evidence, for all those who use KDE is not a nice presentation if it does not work! So if you can not fix I would say it would be better, temporarily eliminate those search folders! What do you think? |

Although no one has answered yet, I continued to investigate why this odiaoso bug, and I made some interesting discoveries that would like to share:
Apparently as you can see from the kioslave "timeline" works well The kioslave "tags" seems to work well! while kioslave "filename search" and "baloosearch" not seem to work I tried different ways and changes to operate the "search folder" but do not work! But now the strange thing is this: oddly enough, as you can see from where I do the search by clicking on the magnifying glass "located" in Dolphin baloosearch seems to work, however, the "search folder" do not work! now the problem is that I despite having launched dolphin even by terminal are not able to determine, using the magnifying glass (find) what type of search string is used! Do you have ideas? It seems that with a little effort the bug can be fixed! |
