Hey there, how're you doing guys?
I probably tested dozens different file managers (some paid as well) and never feel like home as I feel using Dolphin. There's a very particular feature on Dolphin that I would like to be able to disable, the little chain that indicates a folder is a symlink. I always keep my data (media, docs...etc) separated from my config files, cache and all other dots on my user folder ($HOME/.*). So I symlink my media/doc folders inside $HOME. But all folders got (by design) the little overlay. I spend most of the time on terminal so I'm familiar with the symlinks I have and would love to turn this indicator off. Example how it looks somehow polluted IMHO: https://i.imgur.com/CyG1Fjx.png On anotther installation I bind mounted the folders to avoid this but I read somewhere is not a good practice. Thank you. |
