Can't change icon for one folder

Wed May 09, 2018 10:07 am
Hi,
I am trying to do a simple task. Change the icon of a specific folder I created.
I went to folder properties , clicked the icon symbol, chose between several nice icons and nothing happened.
So, I thought I launch another Dolphin instance and saw to my surprise ,all the folders I've created had the icon I set on the specific one.

Is it a bug or a non possible feature?
Dolphin version is 18.04 and I am on KDE neon

I'm not able to reproduce this.
Steps taken:
Right-click on a folder in Dolphin -> Properties. Click on the folder icon in the dialog that pops up (don't go into File Type Options as that is for the settings for all folders) and select the desired folder icon.
(verified in Plasma 5.12.4, Dolphin 18.04 (I believe) on PCLinuxOS almost-up-to-date)
