apt install sshfs
sshfs root@your.server.ip:/ ~/mountpoint then use dolphin to access ~/mountpoint and press "F4" to open terminal perfect~~ hope this integrated into navigation bar using "sshfs://server.address" or fish or sftp or whatever thus friendly to konsole operations (switching dirs, etc.) |

SSHFS (SSH Filesystem) is a filesystem client to mount and interact with directories and files located on a remote server or workstation over a normal ssh connection.[2] The client interacts with the remote file system via the SSH File Transfer Protocol (SFTP),[3] a network protocol providing file access, file transfer, and file management functionality over any reliable data stream that was designed as an extension of the Secure Shell protocol (SSH) version 2.0.
I have to say I hate click-bait headlines like yours. using ssh fs save the bother of entering the ssh line in Konsole e.g. from bash history. big deal. Why memorize F4 when you can have an clickable KONSOLE icon in the toolbar instead ? |
