Is it possible to change the safely remove USB drive to umount USB drive?
Or is it possible to add umount as a new entry in the context menu for removable storage?

The problem I'm having is that with safely remove the USB device disappears from the system and
I'd like to run additional operations on it. I need to plug the device back in to do that.

Hello,
now is february 2021 and we still have this big problem.
Is annoying that everytime a device is made unavailable it will disappear.
Especially when there are a lot of devices.
There is a remote possibility to have this problem fixed?
(ex. put also an unmount option and not only eject option)
