This one has been driving me crazy for years:

If you press F2 (or just click again) on a filename, you get a selected filename text. Great.

Now, if you middle-click elsewhere (ex in a text editor), it won't paste the filename. Sad.

I apprecaite that at that point the filename is no longer selected, so maybe this should be expected. Still, it makes life difficult. Is there a way to get it to work?
