I can disable thumbnails per file type in Configure > General > Previews, but this applies to every view mode.

It should be possible to make it behave like Windows Explorer and not fetch thumbnails in Details View. This adds a reading/processing overload for video files.

I like to use Details view by default with smallest size for almost every folder, but there are a few ones I need to see previews/thumbnails, so I use Icons View for them. Previews processing should be configurable per view mode.

In View Modes under Configure it should be possible to disable preview per view mode.
