I'm a heavy user of KDE Plasma5, and like almost all things in Plasma5 and Dolphin, especially that almost all shortcuts in KDE are configurable.
It is very convenient, and saves me from switching frequently hand between keyboard and mouse. But there is a little requirement, May I ask here? The action about the tab key, in Dolphin, is NOT configurable just like it in other KDE apps. In Dolphin, we can only assign Tab key to either the action "switch between split view", or "switch focus". If I assign it to former, I can NOT switch focus by press any keys! If I assign it to latter, I can NOT switch between split view with keyboard, and I have to use mouse. Is it possible, to let this being in line with the convention of KDE? For example, let us can assign a key to act "switch focus", at same time, also can assign another key to act "switch between split views"? Just like Kate, we can use Shift+tab to switch document tabs, and at same time, we can use Ctrl+tab to switch between split views also. Furthermore, these two action are assignable with any key shortcuts we want. Forgive my English, I hope I expressed things correctly. Thank you! |
