Hi,
New to KDE in general and coming from xfce. I have a luks drive that I periodically mount, but want the system to forget it once I've unmounted it. This is what I've become used to in Thunar, and I would think would be the default behavior. It does ask if I would like to save the password when I mount the drive, to which I've only ever answered no, but if I unmount the drive and then just click the drive icon again at a later time it will spin right back up without any credentials. Am I possibly overlooking a setting somewhere? Thanks! |

This is really unfortunate.
Most people would use a LUKS device for security reasons, but not being able to unmount to forget your credentials seems like very poor security. I suppose I would need to completely log out and back in every time I want to access my LUKS device to maintain security. Seems to be the antithesis of convenient. |
