Problably not Dolphins but qt/kdelibs or even nvidia bug, but affecting Dolphin badly. Happens on any GUI style and qt backend. Can someone confirm this on Intel/ATI graphics chips?
Steps to reproduce: 1. Open fresh Dolphin window 2. Open new tab 3. Switch tabs 4. Open any child window (e.g. rename or properties) 5. Switch tabs http://youtu.be/v1pFutKaYvU |

Sorry, but I could neither reproduce this, nor see the "glitch" in your video. Can you provide more details please?

Take a look at this part of window during tab switching before and after child window is opened. |

Are you referring to the flickering that occurs when switching between tabs?

Thanks. I saw similar behavior in Konqueror, back in KDE 3.x days, but there toolbar was affected and probably still is. --- Peter, can we have your opinion, please? |

I'm a little confused. Nope - you are not sure. Or, nope - you won't share a log file?

Thank you. Looks standard to me. You are not using backing store, and indeed with backing store disabled, flickering dosen't looks that bad but yet occurs. |
