can I force dolphin v 1.7 to open at specific size?

I have dual monitors - one 1920 and one 1280. If I drag an open copy of dolphin (v 1.7) - at the size I want - from the smaller monitor to the larger one, it re-sizes to the absolute full width of the 1920 monitor. This is a ridiculous waste of space as it hides every thing behind it and is not necessary. Also, it is difficult to resize because the cursor has to go right into the corner or side of the monitor to grab the side of the box.

Then, if I want to drag it back to the other monitor, it resizes again to the full width of the 1280 monitor - again, much too wide.

Question is - can I force dolphin to stay at the size I have resized it to? First, so it opens to that size and/or second so it stays at a size I have already resized it to?

Any help appreciated
