I am a new LinuxMint user and some of the games that i usally played on my old PC wont play unless i get a newer version of Explorer or update Adobe Flash Player. I've dont know how to install what i have downloaded or if i even downloaded the right thing. Could someone please help me? Signed Linux Dummy

Software is usually installed through a package manager in linux, not by downloading things manually. You can read about the GUI tool which does this in Linux Mint: http://helpsite.org/install-software-in-linux/ You might also want to read about apt-get, the CLI underlying frontend. Greetings, Sven edit: meh, not the most professional guide I linked there, but it should do.
