When I move stuff in terminal, Dolphin doesn't refresh itself instantly, even after using F5.
I looked up the problem on the web, and what I found was similar to my question: http://forums.opensuse.org/english/get-technical-help-here/applications/458567-dolphin-does-not-refresh-file-list-automaticaly.html where the end of the posts reads:
I'm using 4.9.4, do I have to wait for 4.10 to come out to see this fixed, or is there some setting that I don't know about? |

The fix is in KDE 4.9.4, but it looks like there are still other scenarios where KDirLister does not update the folder contents when files change:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=311582 Your problem might or might not be the same. If you think that it is not, and you can provide a series of simple steps that can be used to reproduce the bug reliably (like in the bug report I quoted above), you might want to file a new bug report. |

The reported bug in that link mentions that F5 works, so mine is even a worse bug because F5 doesn't behave properly. Thanks for the link; I'll follow the reports there and see that I post a detailed step-wise new one if need be. |
