Seriously? Why? It would just make sense for example to share pictures to Facebook from within dolphin directly. Please.

Feature requests should be posted on bugs.kde.org, rather than the forum where they can be forgotten.

And this feature request should please *not* be reported for the product 'Dolphin'. Every application can add actions like "Upload image" to the context menu using the plugin system. kde-apps.org might even already have something that does it for you.

Well, I asked for that a long time ago via the bug tracker in the kipi section. They told me they are not responsible and I should ask the dolphin devs for it... Now you're telling me that is not the right place as well... And no, last time I checked, kde-apps also didn't have something obvious like that as well. I mho the whole kipi thin should get an extra menu point in dolphin.

Fair enough, but as I said: any application can easily embed actions into Dolphin's context menu.

Actually, looking for 'KDE service menu' with the keyword 'upload' on kde-apps.org yields some results like "Upload to Tumblr/Imgur/Imageshack/Flickr...", maybe one of them provides what you need. If not, ask the developers of an application that can upload photos to the service you want if they can provide a service menu.
