I heard that KDE is supposedly a power user wm/de but yet ark/dolphin _doesn't_ even let you take multiple files and extract there in the same directory? What kind of insanity is this? You can put _GIT_ into the fm but god forbid you let people select multiple archives to extract them at once that's way too complex isn't it? >:(

I am on kde 4.8 on debian, I don't want to have to do some weird hack to get around this. I can't believe/imagine that the kde project is literally this far behind the "common sense" brigade, everything does multiple file extraction. Even the idiots at the gnome team haven't decided to remove that on their current rampage to show that they're all geniuses.

It works nicely here with KDE 4.10.

BTW, I would appreciate it if you would read http://www.kde.org/code-of-conduct/ before posting again in the KDE forums. Thanks for your understanding.

so basically nothing, since debian's on 4.8 oh well then, i'm leaving this thing. The multiple crashes aren't worth it. I'm going to try xfce, gnome3 is garbage, kde4 is still garbage, mate is garbage, apparently everything's garbage.
