Occasionally, when it is a small fix, I try to use Dolphin to upload php files to my host's server. Each time I do and then try to load the script in a browser, I get an internal server error. It only happens with php files. If I use Filezilla, no problem. Uploading css or html files to the server using Dolphin, no problem.
Trying to troubleshoot this, the permissions are set the same as they would be if I use Filezilla. Opening the file from the server and a local copy in Kate or Kwrite and there are no differences and the coding remains at UTF-8. Any ideas? |

If you have access to the files directly on the server (ie. shell access) does a "diff" indicate any differences between the files?
It is a possibility that Dolphin is not using the appropriate FTP server transfer mode - resulting in the files becoming corrupt.

This problem seems to have resolved itself. I was able to compare files on the server using KDiff and they were binary equal. I am no longer receiving internal server errors on php files uploaded through Dolphin.
