Hi All,
I have several ftp folders added to the dophin file browser and last night when I wanted to open one of them, it gave me error showing "Could not find the program Konquerer". I don't know why it is happening ![]() also in order to obtain some related logs I launched it from command line and I got the following logs: "/org/freedesktop/UDisks2/drives/WDC_WD6400BPVT_60HXZT1_WD_WXG1E51TMR92" : property "Drive" does not exist "/org/freedesktop/UDisks2/drives/hp______DVD_RW_AD_7711H_5428502E21" : property "Drive" does not exist "/org/freedesktop/UDisks2/drives/Generic__xD_2fSD_2fM_2eS_2e" : property "Drive" does not exist "/org/freedesktop/UDisks2/drives/WDC_WD6400BPVT_60HXZT1_WD_WXG1E51TMR92" : property "DeviceNumber" does not exist "/org/freedesktop/UDisks2/drives/WDC_WD6400BPVT_60HXZT1_WD_WXG1E51TMR92" : property "Device" does not exist QPixmap::scaled: Pixmap is a null pixmap QPixmap::scaled: Pixmap is a null pixmap QPixmap::scaled: Pixmap is a null pixmap Not a JPEG file: starts with 0x52 0x49 /bin/sh: 1: konqueror: not found I don't know if dophin depends on konqueror for ftp operations or it is just some problem with the configurations?? No. If I enter a ftp address in dolphin, the ftp directory is shown directly in dolphin. Maybe you have konqueror set as the default filemanager? Check Systemsettings->Default Applications->File Manager. |

Hi,
thanks for answering ![]() I checked my settings and the default file manager is set as dolphin ....I did some trial and error check..and figured out that if I set the proxy in network settings then somehow dolphin is asking for konqueror for ftp folders....but if I just set "no proxy" in network settings...then it works fine... Kind of wiered...but atleast now I am able to work if I don't set the proxy. I also checked if I can actually uninstall and reinstall dolphin alone...but it muon says that it has to remove kde-desktop for removing dolphin.. so ridiculous it is. ![]() Regards Ravi K Sharma Germany |

The output you posted for a manual launch of Konqueror is fairly concerning - that doesn't look correct.
Can you please check in ~/bin/ to see if a script called "konqueror" exists?
