I just upgraded from 4.11.5 to 4.12.2
Now the fileproperties-menu for images doesn't show the information-tab anymore.. is this intended? Or am I missing something?

Can you clarify which type(s) of images are affected by this loss?

in 4.12 I don't have such a tab

maybe the tab was dropped as it duplicates information shown when hovering, looked on bugs.kde.org and found no mention of this

also since Krusader shows the same properties box It might not be Dolphin but a KDE lib that changed this

I just had a look. The "Information" tab has indeed been removed from the "Properties" dialog by this change in kdelibs:

It seems that there were serious problems with this tab, which are due to it still using the outdated Nepomuk 1 which is part of kdelibs and which were impossible to fix since kdelibs 4.x is feature-frozen and thus cannot depend on Nepomuk 2.
