Hi! I am a beginner in kubuntu, I like dolphin and I've installed it on another computer with xfce Manjaro. On this computer, the menu Control-Tab dolphin additional information - audio, I can not see Album, Author, duration. I would like to see them like in Kubuntu. The dolphin is version 4.12.4 greetings

Please check the Strigi packages installed on both systems - it is likely that the Manjaro system has additional Strigi / Nepomuk metadata plugins installed which the Kubuntu system does not.

In Kubuntu 14.04 no package strigi seems to be installed but is O.K. in Manjaro the strigi 0.7.8-5.¿What package I need to install or remove in Manjaro to see the audio information?

Just to clarify - it is the Manjaro system which is not displaying the additional metadata (length, artist, album, etc)?
Also, are both systems running KDE 4.12.4 or is one running 4.13?

Yes, the Manjaro 0.8.10-pre1 ascella 64bits system not displaying the additional metadata running KDE 4.12.4. The other system is Kubuntu 14.04 .Kde 4.13.0 and displaying all metadata.

Do you have Nepomuk / Indexing disabled on the Manjaro system?

I have a ssd. If I throw it tells me: Tools Nepomuk backup. It seems that Nepomuk is not running. You can not make backups without him.

Sorry, not sure I understood that. Can you check which options are checked in System Settings > Desktop Search on the Manjaro system?

Sorry I'm newbie Manjaro and use google translator. In the start menu in Spanish Manjaro I see "system" and "Settings" but I can not find "desktop search" in either

There should be an application, called "System Settings" in English, available somewhere in the start menu. If you open this application, it offers quite a few different categories, one of which is called "Desktop Search".

As I have Manjaro in Spanish and can not find "desktop search" on the initial menu, I've put a live cd in English. In the start menu did appear "setting" and "system", if you click setting as close to "desktop search" is "desktop" but there just see background , menu, icons. Another possibility is "settin editor" and click on xfce-desktop where many sites are marked. Is this the one that calls me?

Try opening a terminal and running "systemsettings". It certainly sounds like Manjaro doesn't use a KDE desktop - so this application may not be installed, which could explain why the indexing process is not running.

On the Manjaro system, please search for "*strigi*" in your package manager, and post the results here - it is likely you are missing crucial metadata extraction plugins due to not using a full KDE desktop.

In Octopi
Kdesclk-strigi-analyzers
Kdenetwork- strigi-analyzers
kdegraphics-strigi-analyzers

I installed all three and nothing has changed. I've gone back to remove
