Hi,
I am new member in your forum. It' s nice to see you! Well, i have a serious problem with Dolphin. I am greek and i have folders with titles with greek letters. Dolphin shows them very well, but i have problem when i try to open files inside of this folders (with greek letters in their title) or when i try to open files with greek letters in their titles in general. Dolphin shows me an error and it shows the path with "?" in the positions that i have greek letters. How can i solve this? I have Ubuntu 14.04 (Trusty Tahr) with KDE installed. Thank you very much and forgive me if i ask something very easy for you... but my brain is stuck. George |

It could be that the file names use a non-Unicode encoding on disk. In that case, no KDE/Qt application will be able to open them. The only way to fix the problem is to fix the encoding of the file names with a suitable tool.
