hrvoojex Registered Member Posts 24 Karma 0	No samba 'share' option in Dolphin 15.08.1 in Plasma 5.4.2 Fri Oct 09, 2015 12:29 pm Hi! I have installed samba and kdenetwork-filesharing but I get no 'share' option in 'properties' window of any folder. How can I share through GUI some folder easily?

Dolphin may not be playing with Samba shares, but Konqueror is! Open Konqueror, enable the sidebar, choose file system, and locate the required folder. Then right click, choose Proprties/Sharing and away you go. Just like the old days...
