Hello,
I'd like to create a custom menu entry for files in a specific folder. That entry should not appear in any other directory but the one I specify. Is this somehow possible with .desktop file syntax? I was surprised to see that there is no information at all about this subject in the internet. If not possible with .desktop files, is there another way? Thanks. |

Wow, I swear I had googled but couldn't find anything. Thanks for pointing me to that thread.
However, in that link they create a custom menu entry for a specific folder (only the folder, not its content). What I'm trying to achieve is a custom menu entry for files in a specific folder. And the method they provide doesn't seem to allow this. Any other idea? |

There is the 'KAbstractFileItemActionPlugin' : viewtopic.php?f=43&t=94138 -> http://api.kde.org/4.x-api/kdelibs-apid ... lugin.html But I have never seen an example of the use of it. |

That seems to be a bit beyond my knowledge...
Every thread I've found related to 'KAbstractFileItemActionPlugin' ends up with nothing... Lol Thanks anyway, your solution is the right one I guess, if one is able to understand 'KAbstractFileItemActionPlugin'. |
