.desktop files are opened with text editor

I accidentally clicked on "never ask again" when choosing to open a .desktop file with a text editor. Now I can't get the prompt back and .desktop files in Dolphin are always opened with a text editor. This includes for example the knetattach shortcut in the Network section. How can I restore the executability of .desktop files in Dolphin? I'm running Dolphin 15.12.1 on Arch.
