I've been messing with my configuration files and the files from another user (I know, I deserve it :( ) and now dolphin is giving me weird errors:

As you can see on the image, dolphin doesn't recognice my home folder (it keeps saying my home is the home of another user) and what is weirder, the menus doesn't have title. And a lot of options of the menus are missing.

My $HOME is well set, it points to my home folder. And I have tried to delete the dolphin configuration files, I have even purged the package and installed it again, but the errors still happens. I have no clue about where the hell is dolphin looking for my home folder and why the menus are broken.

Any ideas? Thanks.

I believe that there is a new setting to always show the full path in breadcrumb mode. You'd want to turn that off, but it's kinda hard since the Settings menu disappeared.
I would assume that this is just typical trunk brokenness.

According to your other post about the missing configuration of kopete i would say your install is totally corrupted. Try to add a new testuser and see if some of the problems are solved with that. So we can narrow it down.

It seems you're rigth, another users of neon packages (trunk) are reporting the same problems.

Well, the weird menus are a trunk problem, it works fine on KDE 4.1

But Dolphin pointing to a wrong home folder doesn't have anything to do with trunk (I think), it happens on 4.1 too. I don't know why, because on the preferences dialog it's configured to point to my home folder, but it points to the folder of another user. I can't use the Home button :(

Anyone knows where Dolphin actually looks for the home path?? It doesn't look at $HOME or it owns settings, so where is dolphin looking? :S
