split facility lost [SOLVED]

Hi,
64 bit PC-Linux KDE Desktop
Possibly an incorrect mouse click, but now there is no menu bar at the top of the dolphin screen,
and the ability to split the screen is lost. ( also a configure icon I believe ) I cannot find a way
to get anything back.
Any help most welcome. Dave P..

ctrl+m for menu

F3 for split screen

to add icons Settings -> Configure Toolbar -> drag from left pane to right

OpenSuse Leap 42.1 x64, Plasma 5.x
