I'm not sure how to word this, as I am kind of, you know, computer illiterate. BUT a few months ago my dad updated my Kubuntu. Before this, Dolphin could search for anything in a file name, like if it were a folder called "ThisFolder" I could CTRL-f and search for "folder" and find "ThisFolder." But it won't do this anymore. I would have to search for "ThisFolder." Is there any way I can fix this?

Dolphin/Baloo/KDE version ? This is probably a Baloo bug: Bug 333037 - Search for filenames requires first characters, cannot start in the middle - https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=333037 ![]() More options: viewtopic.php?f=225&t=130154#p351498 |

WAIT!! I found a program called KFind, and you can use a wildcard, "*" before and/or after what you search for. YAY!!!
