Sharing Dolphin Service Menus

Tue Aug 16, 2016 10:44 pm
Hi. I've made a little service menu for Dolphin which others may find useful, but I was wondering what is the preferred way to share it.
Should I publish to kde-look.org? Will it be visible in dolphin settings automatically or is it a separate repo? Is there a standard format recognized by the service downloader?

Thanks.

p.s.: If you're curious about what I'm hacking on, it's a little utility that copies the smb:// or UNC link to a file: https://github.com/cician/SambaLinkMaker

There are a couple of other service menus available on kde-apps.org which can be downloaded from within dolphin (Settings -> Configure Dolphin -> Services -> Download New Services). You should check out how those are packaged and probably do something similar.
