Hello,
not too long ago I switched from Windows 10 to Manjaro KDE. IN the last few weeks I made myself comfortable with KDE Plasma 5 and have to say I'm really impressed. Almost everything I had to use extra programs for under Windows can be done out of the box. Still there is one thing I really miss in Dolphin, compared to XYPlorer: Coloring and highlighting items based on their attributes. I mainly had it set up to colorize files and folders by age. For example: Everything modified today: light green highlight, everything modified within the last hour: bright green highlight. I know there is a way to alter text color in dolphin, because the 'Dropbox version control system' plugin does it, see Screenshot. Can someone briefly explain where the settings for the Dropbox plugin are stored and give me a starting point, so I can write my own coloring script? Every help is much appreciated. Thanks, Norman |
