Hello, I have a shared nfs folder on a remote PC at work which I keep mounting on my laptop when I get to the LAN. However, whenever I get back home which means I can no longer access the remote share, and then I try to open a file/folder via a different problem, dolphin literary freezes/hangs. I have to reboot my PC for things to work correctly again which is odd. Is this a bug? What can I do? Thanks.

I also ran into this problem recently and found there is a bug report that I think is related to this. The bug report is here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1304738 and may not be solved anytime soon.

But you do not have to reboot to make the Dolphin usable. Instead, you just need to open another thread of Dolphin, use krunner for example, which would be responsive. I have not tried but I think this method works for the Panel, too.

Here is a workaround that said to be working, https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/NF ... th_systemd, but I have not tried it.
