Dolphin only show images dimension only for images outside /home/ directories.

When selecting an image outside /home/... Dolphin will display the image's dimensions Height and Width in the informations. If the same image is move anywhere inside the /home/... directory tree, Dolphin doesn;t show the dimensions.

Baloo is disabled.

Is there an option that prevents Dolphin from showing the dimensions?

Are you sure? Where/how did you disable it?

If baloo is disabled (or you are in a folder that is exluded from indexing, like everything outside of $HOME), dolphin should display the information directly.
Otherwise it will take it from baloo, and that only works if the file is already indexed.

In other words, your problem rather sounds like baloo is *enabled*, and the affected files are not indexed yet for some reason.
