Dolphin 'Copy To' and 'Move To' service menus

The history of 'Copy To' and 'Move To' is saved to the Dolphin configuration file : dolphinrc. With the KDE Frameworks 5 the default path is: $HOME/.config/.dolphinrc.

Groups are 'kuick-copy' and 'kuick-move'. Keys are 'Paths[$e]'.

You could remove the paths from the dolphinrc. Maybe made an own service menu: Creating Service Menus: https://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tu ... vice_Menus

or lock the entry down: https://userbase.kde.org/KDE_System_Adm ... _Expansion

Shell Expansion
So called Shell Expansion can be used to provide more dynamic default values. With shell expansion the value of a configuration key can be constructed from the value of an environment variable or from the output of a shell command.

To enable shell expansion for a configuration entry, the key must be followed by [$e]. Normally the expanded form is written into the users configuration file after first use. To prevent that, it is recommend to lock the configuration entry down by using [$ie].

Hey Rog131,
thank you very much for your advice. It helped me very much!

You suggested to create an own service menu. I made already a lot of service menus etc., but in this special case I don’t have any idea, what to write into that .desktop file.

Could you help me, please?!
Thank you in advance!
