Order of Hidden Folders and Disable Copy/Move/Link Popup

Hi,

I have recently started using Neon after the abandoning of Unity and while I really love Dolphin so far compared to Nautilus there are two things that are bugging me and that I cannot seem to be able to fix.

1. Is there a way to have the hidden folders show up *after* the non-hidden ones. To me this makes no sense. The non-hidden ones are clearly more important (since they are not hidden), but are shown after. Why? When I start dolphin, if I hit Alt+. my non-hidden folders get pushed back and it is harder to find them as they are not in their "usual" spot anymore. Also there are so many hidden folders, I have to scroll down to see the non-hidden ones!

2. Is there a way to disable the little "Move/Copy/Link Here" popup that appears every time I drag and drop something. I understand this is a safety feature to make sure people realize what they are doing, but there must be a way to disable it, right? Even moving files to trash and deleting have their confirmation checkboxes...

Thanks.

Hi,
I can find these:

1)
Bug 333219 - An option to group hidden files in the end - https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=333219
Status: RESOLVED WONTFIX => https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=333219#c5 :
Chris Holland 2017-08-22 18:36:24 UTC

I wrote 2 patches to implement this for myself since this is a wontfix.
The first patch will make it a hardcoded feature for all folders.
If you apply the second on top of the first, it will add an option in "View > Adjust View Properties" to make it optional per folder.

2)
Dolphin: 2 questions (Control-n; dialog) - viewtopic.php?f=66&t=97108
-> viewtopic.php?f=66&t=97108#p204655:

...As far as I know there's no way to disable the menu in the configuration, but you can hold down Shift or Ctrl while dragging if you want to move or copy the file, respectively...

Re: the WONTFIX on the reordering of the hidden folders: He did suggest posting about it in Brainstorm to see if there is sufficient interest in that feature to warrant making the requested changes. I think doing so would be a good idea. I could even see changing the behavior to be the default/only behavior (I don't really care either way, but could see it plausible for more people to prefer hidden files/folders to be sorted last than prefer the current sorting).

Thanks for your answers.
Looks like I am going to have to get used to that move/copy popup!
Regarding the orders of hidden folders, I am glad to see that I am not the only one who would like this and I've posted about it in Brainstorm here:
https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=83&t=141979
I would also love to try the patches provided by Chris, but I have no idea what to do with a .diff file. Could anyone tell me how to use them or point me toward a guide on what to do with these files?
