Hi everyone.

I'm having problems with dolphin. On opening the home directory of my user, dolphin freezes.
If I'm starting dolphin in another directory, it's working. But when I change to the home directory of the specific user, it freezes again.
This also happens, when some other file dialog is opened, e.g. when I'm trying to save a file in kate.
Opening the home directories of other users seems to be fine.

I'm using Kubuntu 16.04.

Regards and thanks in advance.

OS
When dolphin freezes is it trying to do something in the background (using either CPU or IO)?
Do you have a lot of files in your home directory (including dot-files if you have Show Hidden Files enabled) (i.e. more than a couple hundred)?
Is there possibly a permissions/ownership issue somewhere?

What OS and version of KDE is being used?
