Well, the headline says it all.
With your help I managed to add my own entries to the dolphin context menu. Can anyone tell me, how to define in which order these entries appear? Best greetings from Germany. ![]() |

If I understand your question you can do the following in Dolphin:
Right mouse click on a file of interest, select Properties, Left click on File Type Properties, on the General Tab you can add operations, or select existing operations and move them up or down in the menu order, apply the changes and you are done.
Migrated from Linux Mint 17.3/18.3 KDE to KDE neon User Edition.

The order of the entries can be set with the 'InitialPreference' key in the desktop file.
The highest 'InitialPreference' will become first.

Thank you Blue Bullet for your reply!
It was not what I was looking for, but it is also very useful information ... and I probably would have looked for it in the near future. Thank you! And thank you Rog131 again! You saved me once again! ![]() And I put this information into the german Wiki too! Wonderful! I wish you all a very nice day! |

Say, Rog131, since you are such an expert in this topic, do you know if it is possible to remove default items from the context menu. Nobody answered to my question here:
