Hi, I use OpenSuse Tumbleweed with KDE.
After installation there was a dialog appearing, which asked how link desktop entrys should be opened with per default: editor or browser. Klicking faster than reading I accidentially set this to 'editor'. How can I revert my choice? I searched a bit around but couldnt find anything about this dialog or how to change this. I know how to change the programs for a filetype, but in this case that does not apply. Thank you, Sebastian |

That sounds like something you'd configure in System Settings either in File Associations or in Default Applications.
If you have a file of the type that you want to change the association for, you can right-click on it and select Properties, then click on File Type Options to change the associations for files of that type.

Yes, thats the only place, I have found, too, but neither fits
![]() In Default Applications Firefox is already set as default for web adresses. And in File Associations you can only set the behavoir for ALL *.desktop files, not only those of Type=URL. |
