Hello
I know, here are some similar questions, but I think, it is the correct way, to make a new thread.
My problem:
I have very much drives (about 25) (most are samba shares), all are shown in the side bar of dolphin and all are shown in open file / save as dialog of kde applications.
They are supplanting my wished bookmarks.

OK, I can go with the RMB on an entry and enable ,Hide'.
But after a reboot, the devices are all shown again.
After every try of hiding a device, dolphin is freezing about 30min...
So I will need a day to hide all devices ....

Is there a better way (i.e. editing a config file using an editor?)

Greetings,
Kängo

The path for the places listing in KDE 4 is ~/.kde/share/apps/kfileplaces/bookmarks.xml. In KDE 5 it will probably be under ~/.config/kfileplaces.
