Hi,
I have trying to get the global menus inside the current open window just below the titlebar. I could not find the right solution. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance. Regards. |

I believe you should just need to remove the Global Menu plasmoid/applet (or any other out-of-application menu things). If the menus don't appear in the application (after restarting the app) then you may need to use ctrl+m to unhide them. If that doesn't work, some applications store a Menu=disabled entry in their configs which you'll need to change (while the app is closed) to get the menus to appear.

Hi Airdrik, Removing the global menu plasmoid helped. most of the menus are shown. Thanks alot. Chrome does not. How can I check for Menu=disabled entry in the config for chrome? Where can I find this config file for chrome? Where could I find the config files of diff apps in general? |

Chrome (being a non-kde browser) does its own thing and probably doesn't have a way to show a dedicated menu bar; or if it does it's hidden somewhere in its preferences or configs somewhere.
(the ctrl+m and Menu=disabled thing is specific to KDE apps, plus other apps which explicitly support it - I'm not sure how general it is for gnome/gtk apps)
