Yes, I have tried to set alternating bg to be the same as bg in three color groups (view, window and complementary). But inactive panel (I use two panels) is still has that - yes, crazy - striped look ![]() |

Did you close and reopen Dolphin? Sometimes dolphin windows left open like to remember/retain some of those colors after they've been changed.

I did a little testing here and I think I see what you are referring to. With two panes open on the inactive pane the alternate-colored rows are maintaining the same color while the normal-colored rows get darker.
I'm not sure if specific to dolphin or to views in general. If it is to views in general then presumably you ought to be able to tweak that behavior in the color scheme, under the Inactive tab. If it is something specific to dolphin then I don't think there's anything that can be done (besides not using the details view or switching to another file manager)
