The Dolphin service settings will enable the same options with the Plasma folderview. Plasma restart (or log out - log in) is needed to show the changes.

Dolphin > Help > Dolphin Handbbook (F1) > Services

Services
This group offers a selection of services that can be shown in the Actions submenu of Dolphin's context menu which appears when clicking a file or folder with the right mouse button...

In the service list you can also choose if the Delete, Copy To, and Move To commands are shown in the context menu.

Hi all my first post and new to KDE
Wanted to add delete in the right click menu (context menu) I saw this post followed it but when I get to services there is no "apply" button so it doesn't stick nothing added to the right click menu and obviously when I run services again the delete button is unticked... Where am I going wrong?
Thx Danni

If there is no apply button if you choose a service then maybe you have either:

*a very old Dolphin or
* a faulty installation,

Since you chose to not disclose your exact Plasma version, Distribution and Dolphin version, I fear there is very little we can do to help.

FWIW: works perfectly fine in my installation, Dolphin 19.12.3

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

Hi sorry
Dolphin version 19.12.3
KDE Plasma Version 5.18.5
KDE Frameworks 5.68.0
Ubuntu 20.04
Kernel 5.4.0-31
Hope I have supplied enough info and sorry for my mistake..

Since you use the same version as I do on the same distribution, check if there is not a problem in your installation. There is no reason you would not have the same behavior as I have.
If that doesn't help, please provide a screenshot of the Settings where the "Apply" button is missing.
