I am noticing a strange issue on Kubuntu 18.04 on my laptop (this behavior does not exist on my desktop with the same version of Kubuntu).

When I place a folder's symbolic link (created with "ln -s") on the desktop, upon clicking the link Dolphin opens up into that location (expected behavior). What is not expected is that there is also another tab opened within Dolphin at my home directory.

Any idea what might be causing this behavior?
