Under the "Remote" section of the Places panel, there are two entries that I did not add that were placed there automagically, I believe through the solid interface. The two that show up are listed in my /etc/fstab, are mounted using systemd automout, and are using CIFS. I also have an SSHFS mount defined in /etc/fstab, which does not show up in the Remote section.
Poking around in the dolphin internals, it looks like these come from the list of network places detected by the Solid framework. If I list the shares detected by Solid, I see the two CIFS mounts, but not the SSHFS one:
Perhaps FUSE mounts are not hooked into this system? Anyone have any ideas why they don't show up as I would expect? |

Hmm... looks like maybe this is a FUSE/solid limitation: https://phabricator.kde.org/T8452
