i noticed that dolphin likes to change ones view settings. it doesn't change it from say icon to compact or details, or from compact to icon or details. what it does is change the size of the particular view you have for a folder, so if i have small icons in a folder dolphin may change the to larger icons, if i have compact set to the smallest dolphin may set it larger.as the thread title say any way to lock the view settings on a folder by folder basis? please any help addressing this would be greatly appreciated.

nor even someone to say if it is or isn't possible?

thanks the links are much appreciated. my suggestion for the devs is a lock feature on the sizing slider, so one can pick there view setting for a folder, use the slider to size to the users liking, then click or check the lock for that folder.
