How to add services to Dolphin?

Fri Jul 19, 2019 1:10 pm
Hi. How I can add services to Dolphin? I tried to use
Code: Select all
Dolphin->Control->Configure Dolphin->Services->Get new services...
, however it doesn't work.

Installed services: https://i.imgur.com/Y2qnQaq.png
They aren't showing in Dolphin: https://i.imgur.com/1EbvdkC.png

My stuff:
Code: Select all
$ dolphin --version
dolphin 19.04.3

$ lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description:    Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS
Release:        18.04
Codename:       bionic

What I'm doing wrong?

Thanks!

The kfind one is for KDE 4, so it won't work on Plasma 5.
Then other two are not packages installable by the Get New Stuff tool. If you click the link for each one in the tool, it will take you to the KDE store, where you can get more info, and installation instructions (if the creator has bothered to provide any) and download the files directly.

The store does still need a bit of work to filter out the older items, as well as those that are not directly installable.

Thanks for clarification!
