Hi,
This may be a specific requirement but as part of my work, I have to unzip compressed files very often. For now, I have to do right-click >> extract >> extract archive here, autodetect folder for each file, which is two clicks too many. Is it possible to assign that action to left-click for compressed files? Thanks. |

left-click on a compressed folder automatically opens up Ark, no need to right-click for that.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Another option is in Dolphin's settings under Navigation, there should be an option to Open archives as folder, which allows you to browse zip files like any other directory.
Insofar as you need to actually extract the contents into some directory, you could also drag-and-drop the zip file into the target (current) directory and the popup should include an option to Extract Here (observed just now in Dolphin 17.12.3, Qt 5.9.5, KDE frameworks 5.47.0; not sure when that feature was added, but I will promptly start using it now that I just discovered that it's a thing ).
